Wedding planning service The Perfect Wedding Company discover venue is most important factor for brides-to-be
A survey conducted by venue finder and wedding planning service The Perfect Wedding Company found out what budding brides-to-be class as the most important aspects of the big day.
The majority of women questioned (60%) agreed that the wedding venue would top the list with 80% even claiming they would be more likely to change their preferred date in order to keep their chosen venue.
Catering is also a big part of the day and 90% of women said they would choose a traditional, sit-down wedding breakfast although The Perfect Wedding Company has seen a rise in a more informal setting with interactive food stations proving popular.
The Perfect Wedding Company has the experience and knowledge to plan anything from intimate ceremonies to large Asian, Jewish or Greek weddings. Although 70% of those surveyed believe the average guest list should be made up of around 120-180 people.
Jennifer Hughes, Managing Director at The Perfect Wedding Company, said: “The findings of this survey just go to show that once a bride falls in love with a venue – come hell or high water – they will not let go of that venue, even if it means changing the date they wanted.
