What an exciting wedding to be involved in! We were fortunate enough to look after the catering for this fabulous wedding at Blenheim Palace in July. Hiring all areas of the venue, guests were able to experience the fabulous state rooms, as well as the stunning gardens.

The ceremony took place in the Orangery and looked breathtaking, with stunning floral pedestals framing the entrance, white and pink hydrangea bombs lining the aisle, and gorgeous white chivari chairs with lime seat pads.

Following the ceremony, guests made their way into the beautiful Italian Gardens for the drinks reception where they enjoyed delicious cocktails in pop top bottles and jam jars, sipped champagne and ate British canapés with an Asian twist, whilst listening to the amazing Blue Notes in the background.

Once photos were finished, guests were invited over to the Great Hall in the Main Palace for a second drinks reception. The room was extremely elegant and rich in colour and history, with red and pink poseur tables, a gold central circular bar and stunning red and pink floral displays. Guests were treated to a variety of Asian fusion bowl food starters and a Bollywood flash mob surprised guests during the reception.

Guests then made their way through the state rooms, for a mini tour of the palace, into the fabulous Long Library for dinner. The room looked stunning with the clients rich, red and gold theme. The tables were set in monet biscuit linens with gold charger plates, gold chivari chairs with ivory seat pads and ruby glassware. The escort cards were in the form of bookmarks placed in vintage books which really added to the Library theme. The centrepieces were song style sheets, cut glass vases and candlesticks, accompanied with roses and props. The menu cards were scrolls that were neatly tied with a ruby ribbon that finished the tables off perfectly. For mains, female guests were served ‘Pan fried guinea fowl’ and the men ‘Cumin and coriander spiced lamb rack’, both received the exciting seaside classic dessert, containing the Bride and Grooms favourite childhood desserts.

Following the dinner guests then made their way into the Water Terrace for the evening reception which was Bollywood themed with bright seating, fabulous orange and pink lighting, a black LED dance floor and an abundant of hanging floral displays. The exterior fountains were also lit up in an array of colours which changed in time with the music. Guests were served authentic Asian finger food in the evening alongside the delicious wedding cake.

All in all it was a fabulous day and we cannot wait to get back to Blenheim Palace for the next wedding!
