Real Wedding: Alison & Dominic at Syon Park
Written By Jessica Barrie, 01/08/2016
A Syon Park real wedding for you today! Saturday 16th July 2016 saw one of the most entertaining weddings take place at this prestigious venue.
Bride Alison was super organised and detailed in her wedding design and everything was considered, right down to the smallest element.
Alison and Dominic began their big day by marrying in Syon House’s Great Hall in front of a stunning blush backdrop covered in wild flowers and a chiffon draped curtain. After the ceremony, the guests explored the regal house and took in all its glory, ending up in the parade where they were met by an elegantly chic Prosecco van. As they made their way into the courtyard, Seasoned Events were ready and waiting with Prosecco, gin and elderflower cocktails, and of course the delicious canapés.
The colour palette – blush, gold and dove grey – was a rather unusual choice which seemed to work beautifully. Each table was covered with a dove grey cloth and then accessorised with gold rimmed glassware, gold rimmed charger plates, blush water glasses and gold cutlery by a Duchess and Butler.
Alison and Dom’s wedding was luxurious and feminine in every way. The flowers were wild and graceful, using pink peonies and fluffs of white hydrangeas with trailing foliage. The tables varied in their floral designs, from tall flower covered candelabras to short filled urns, and the head table was complemented by a cascading scape of flowers.
The happy couple booked a martini bar and its own mixologist from Blackleaf Events for the special occasion, a glitter bar where guests could have artistic face and body painting done and of course, a fabulous photo booth!
To top off the evening, in the cactus room you could find a beautifully prepared sweets table (set up for guests to help themselves to) covered with rose gold sequin linen that hosted an incredible white and gold wedding cake!
It was an absolute pleasure to work for Alison and Dominic on their special day and we wish them all the best for their wonderful life together!
